Club Runs 18th April
Meet at Tay Road Bridge South for 9.15 am depart to Loch Leven. We will split into groups based on average speed, Group 1 (16-17mph), Group 2 (15-16 mph) and a shorter Group 3 ride (13-14 mph). These are all social, no drop rides with the groups staying together.
Saturday is also the next in our series of Challenge Rides. Meet at the Millennium Hall at 8am for Little Glenshee via Destiny Bridge. The club Challenge Rides are a series of supportive group rides which take place over the summer, approximately every 2 weeks. They get progressively longer (from about 50 to 140 miles) with the aim of increasing fitness and endurance. We aim for an average speed of about 14-15 mph
All newcomers are welcome. If you can cycle 40+ miles in 2.5 - 3 hours then you will manage fine on the steady runs. If you are new to club cycling then please see the FAQ page.
About Us
Dundee Wheelers Cycling Club was established in 1971 through a merger of the Dundee Roads and Forfarshire clubs.
Today it is one of the largest clubs in the Dundee area and enjoys a reputation for its friendliness and the welcome it gives to riders of all ages and abilities.
Although a number of members race at local and national level, others cycle for purely recreational purposes. All enjoy the unique comradeship that cycling as a group brings.
