Saturday, all meet at the Millennium Hall at 9:15am for Loch of the Lowes - Birnam.
The BRAW ride is running again this Saturday for anyone new to group riding or starting back again and want to get fitter and faster. Meet at the Millennium Hall, Birkhill for a 9:15am start. Plan to do around 30 miles with a cafe stop so bring cash / card too. These rides are suitable for people who can cycle around 14 mph on their own for 20 miles - you can ride faster and longer in a group, one of the many joys of group riding. That first step can be the hardest, but don't worry you will be looked after and the group will ride at a pace that everyone can manage - there is no dropping anyone!
Sunday, meet at Camperdown Gates at 9:30am for Impromptu.
All newcomers are welcome. If you can cycle 40+ miles in 2.5 hours (i.e. 15-16 mph) then you will manage fine on the steady runs, otherwise we suggest trying the beginners run. If you are new to club cycling then please see the FAQ page.
Dundee Wheelers Cycling Club was established in 1971 through a merger of the Dundee Roads and Forfarshire clubs.
Today it is the largest club in the Dundee area and enjoys a reputation for its friendliness and the welcome it gives to riders of all ages and abilities.
Although a number of members race at local and national level, others cycle for purely recreational purposes. All enjoy the unique comradeship that cycling as a group brings.
